What to expect
1. You tell us about your business
By filling out our Website Plan Form, you give us a strong understanding of what your website should contain and be like. The form covers your business details, what you'd like included, any preferences you have, etc.
We'll get in touch to confirm your website plan, requirements, files/content, build fee, and ongoing service. Once you're happy with everything and the build fee has been paid, we'll get started.
Not sure what you want? That's fine - we can design your website from start to finish with the bare minimum.
2. We build your website
First drafts typically land within these windows:
• Starter Package: 2–5 days
• Mid-Scale Package: 6–10 days
Turnaround mostly comes down to how much content you're able to give us upfront. The less we have to start with, the more we create ourselves - which can take a little longer.
These are estimates rather than fixed deadlines. We'll keep you posted if anything's likely to affect the timeline.
3. You review, and we refine
You get 2 free rounds of revisions, plenty of room to get the wording, layout, and details exactly right.
We'll send you a link to your completed website's draft, which you can review page by page. From there, you can approve it, or request changes by form, email, or call - whatever's easiest for you.
4. We launch
Once you're happy with the finished website, you'll activate your ongoing website service. We then publish your website and connect your domain - it's now live for customers and the world to see! (More on domains in the next section below.)
From here, it's genuinely hands-off. Want something changed? Just tell us what and we'll handle it - no logins, no plugins, nothing to learn. Content updates and other changes included with your ongoing service are handled as part of that service, while larger changes, new pages, or new functionality may be quoted separately.

Once you've got a domain, connecting it to your website is free and included in every package. We handle the technical side - all you'll need to do is add a couple of records at your registrar, which we'll walk you through when the time comes.
Domain connections can take up to 48 hours to fully kick in.

We also offer live one-on-one help with the whole process for a small fee.
Hosting included
Hosting is included as part of your ongoing website service, so there's no separate hosting bill or hosting account for you to manage.
Website content
Have your own photos, videos, or written content?
We will build your website around what you provide. You will have a chance to share files and content you'd like us to use on your site when we get in touch to confirm your website plan.
No content? We will create it for you.
If you don't have photos or footage, we can source suitable stock images or video that fit your brand at no extra cost. And if writing isn't your thing, our packages already include a standard write-up for your site.
If you'd like something more polished or in-depth, that's available as an add-on.
Payment
Your website has two separate costs:
1. Build fee
A one-off build fee is paid before we start building your website. This covers the initial website build, based on your chosen package and any agreed add-ons.
2. Ongoing website service
Once your website is complete and you're ready for it to go live, you'll activate your chosen ongoing service. This keeps your website hosted and online and includes the ongoing support and updates included with your package.
The build fee and ongoing service are separate charges, and both will be clearly confirmed with you before we begin.
What you're paying for:
The build fee covers the initial website build, from the first draft through to launch, based on the package and add-ons agreed before we begin.
Your ongoing service covers the continued hosting and support included with your package.
We won't add unexpected costs. If you request something outside your package or original plan, we'll let you know if there is an additional cost and confirm the price with you before proceeding.
Cancel anytime
Your ongoing website service can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation stops future recurring charges, with your service remaining active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Changed your mind?
If you cancel within 48 hours of paying the build fee, and we haven't started work on your website yet, we'll give you a full refund - no questions asked.
What’s not included:
Any third-party services you choose to use, such as a custom domain or payment processing, are paid directly to the provider. These costs are separate from your Happy Tech payments.
